Another Titan has now been cast and this time it is none other than the leader of Titans. Deadline reports that Brenton Thwaites has landed the major role of Dick Grayson a.k.a. Nightwing, the hero who is going to bring young superheroes together. The official character description from Warner Bros TV reads as follows:

Comic book fans know Dick Grayson as Batman’s famous sidekick, Robin. After Dick’s parents were murdered during their high-flying circus act, Bruce Wayne became Dick’s legal guardian and trained him to fight crime beside him. But after years as part of the Dynamic Duo, Dick struggled to find his place outside the Dark Knight’s shadow. Finally striking out as his own man, he emerges as a leader, mentor, and father figure to his new family, the Titans.

Production on the 13 episodes of Season 1 is set to start in October in Toronto, Canada, which means we will most likely have more details soon on the upcoming show. Titans is one of the upcoming new shows that will be part of the new DC branded streaming service in 2018.
