Sources have told Variety that the Watchmen star Billy Crudup, who played Dr. Manhattan, is engaged in discussions to play Barry Allen’s father, Henry Allen, in the new Flash movie set to release in 2018.

Kiersey Clemons is set to play Iris West, and Ezra Miller has been cast to portray Flash.  Miller has made two cameos so far.  A few brief glimpses during Batman v. Superman and a scene in Suicide Squad.

Chris Miller and Phil Lord provided a treatment for The Flash and Seth Grahame-Smith wrote a scrip from their document.

If you are eager to see Miller as The Flash you can catch him in Justice League next year along side Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jason Mamoa (Aquaman), Ray Fisher (Cyborg) and Henry Cavill (Superman).

Henry Allen was created by John Broome and Carmine Infantino, first appearing in The Flash #126. (1962)
