The Flash Podcast Season 1.5 – The Multiverse and Earth 2

This week on Season 1.5 of The Flash Podcast, Andy and Amy are joined by special guest Matt Moore (Host of Scott’s Comic Book Noob podcast at Assembly of Geeks) to do a special episode on the Multiverse, a huge concept in the DC Comics universe that will be introduced in The Flash in season 2. What is the Multiverse? How did it come to exist in the DC Universe? What are some of the good stories that you should pick up? How is The Flash TV show and other CW/DCTV shows going to be handling the Multiverse as well as in the DC Extended Universe? And what the heck is Earth 2? The gang deals with those questions and more on the summer edition of The Flash Podcast!

The Multiversity by Grant Morrison is also a great recommendation. It is a series of three chapters with multiple one shots highlighting different earths in the DC multiverse. The Flash history as well as references to Crisis and Flashpoint are referenced as well. The last issue has an amazing scene with Flashes from all across The Multiverse racing to fight the threat to the DC Multiverse. It would be great to see in an episode of season two. It can be a trippy read but worth it.
